Abstract

The protective head band is made of supple material which can absorb shocks. It has a narrow middle part(1) which covers the forehead of the user and on either side of this there are wider parts (2) which cover the ears. It consists of a core surrounded by a cover, both of which are supple and flexible to fit the head. The cover is made of a fabric lined with synthetic foam adhering to its internal face and the core is a supple synthetic foam. The extremities (3) of the band are fastened by auto-adhesive bands.
