Abstract

Des éléments d'accumulateurs sont séparés par une séparation 500 dans laquelle est pratiquée une ouverture 502. Des cosses en plomb 504 et 506 sont placées contre cette paroi et recouvrent l'ouverture. Des électrodes de soudage 600 et 602 comportent une portion de refoulement 604, 606 située au centre d'une portion de compression 200. A l'extérieur et en arrière se trouve une portion 300 de forge comportant un bord d'attaque 302 et une surface intérieure 304 concave ou biseautée. Lorsque les électrodes se déplacent l'une vers l'autre, elles refoulent le plomb dans l'ouverture 502 où il est ensuite fondu par application de courant électrique tandis que la portion 300, en s'enfonçant dans les pièces en plomb 506 et 504, empêche le plomb d'être expulsé de la zone de fusion.
