Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de production accélérée, notamment en discontinu, d'huiles essentielles parfumées à partir de plantes ainsi qu'une installation pour la mise en oeuvre de ce procédé. Cette installation comprend au moins une enceinte 1 pourvue de moyens 2 de broyage des plantes en une bouillie, de moyens 5 de régulation de la température dans l'enceinte, de moyens 6 d'amenée des plantes, de moyens 7 de soutirage de la bouillie, de moyens 8 d'amenée d'agent d'extraction ; une colonne 9 de distillation connectée à l'enceinte 1; au moins un appareil de condensation 15, 17 des vapeurs sortant en tête de la colonne 9. Le procédé de l'invention permet de réduire d'environ quatre fois la durée d'extraction des huiles essentielles des plantes.
