Abstract

Wallpaper rolls (2) are supplied to the packaging machine on an inclined plane which feeds the revolving wheel (4) fitted with equally spaced grooves (5). The rolls are unloaded onto a ramp (15) which admits them to the magazine table. The supply of rolls is stopped by the shutter (26) when the magazine is full. The rolls rest on the base of the trolley (19) actuated by the hydraulic ram (22). When the magazine is full the trolley is retracted and the rolls drop into the carton (28) located on the lower roller conveyor. When the carton is full, the gate (33) is opened and the carton can be pushed forward by the ram (34) onto a conveyor.
