Prod. comprises, as a matrix for supporting lyophilisation and/or as a matrix for as stabiliser, >=1 synthetic polysaccharide (I). Pref. (I) is a sucrose-epihalohydrin (esp. of mol. wt. 60000-5 x 105) copolymer.
