Abstract

Road vehicle disc brake has a fixed saddle encompassing a disc, the saddle (3) having at least one section (4) with two parts (5) formed identically with a trapezoidal shape. Each part (5) is arranged with the shorter of its parallel side edges facing the brake disc axis and crossing it vertically. Each part (5) has a housing (8) in its middle section for an operating device, and holes (6, 7) parallel to the brake disc axis near its corners. The two saddle parts are rigidly connected to each other by at least two retainer bolts (16) which engage in holes (6) in one of the parallel side edges. Each bolt (16), carries a distance piece (17).
