Abstract

The rotary crusher serves for crushing coal or minerals to a certain required grain state. A rotating crusher drum operates inside the housing. The drum consists of a body (4) with a number of picks (5) fitted detachably to pick casings (6) welded onto the drum circumference. The drum is mounted on a shaft seated in two bearings. The housing contains also a crusher plate (9) with a comb-like cog fitted to the plate. The plate is fitted in the housing pivoting around a fulcrum (11) so that the gap between the plate and the drum or the picks can be varied (12). The material to be crushed is brought in through the top of the housing.
