Abstract

L'invention concerne un générateur électrochimique et notamment une pile à dépolarisation par l'air comprenant une électrode positive catalytique alimentée par un circuit d'aération, une électrode négative et un électrolyte surmontés par un espace gazeux séparé dudit Circuit d'aération de façon etanche aux gaz. Selon l'invention on prévoit un moyen sélectif d'évacuation de l'hydrogène susceptible de se former dans ledit espace gazeux, ledit moyen ne permettant pas l'entrée dans cet espace d'un gaz venant de l'extérieur. Application aux piles à électrolyte alcalin et dont l'électrode négative est à base de poudre de zinc.
