Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé d'alignement de deux parties de conduite immergées et un dispositif pour la mise en oeuvre dudit procédé. L'invention consiste en l'utilisation de deux souleveurs 2 pour relever les parties de conduites 3a/3b jusqu'à ce que leurs extrémités soient sensiblement horizontales ; un ligneur 1 est descendu en flottabilité légèrement négative jusqu aux parties de conduite à raccorder, est fixé auxdites parties au moyen de ses pinces 5 et est mis en appui << libre >> sur le fond par l'intermédiaire de ses pieds retractables 16 qui autorisent le ripage latéral du ligneur; la phase finale d'alignement des parties de conduite est obtenue par les organes de préhension du ligneur 1 de l'intérieur de la chambre de soudure 1c. Trouve son application dans le cadre des travaux sous-marins lors du raccordement des conduites immergées.
