Abstract

The assembly has a forked chassis (1) with wheels (2) and a towing bar (3). The chassis is approximately U-shaped having two longer parallel beams connected at one end by a shorter transverse beam. The wheels are connected to each of the parallel beams via arms (7). The arms are attached to the wheel hubs and allow free movement of the wheels. The arms are pivotable about bearings attached to the ends of the parallel beams. Hydraulic piston and cylinder arrangements are attached to the beams and arms to effect pivoting of the arms relative to the beams, this pivotal movement enables the height of the assembly above the ground to be varied. the hydraulic cylinders may be actuated independently to effect a height on one side of the assembly greater than that on the other, this being useful when used on sloping terrain.
