Abstract

The equipment diffuses an opthalmic medicinal solution into the eye. It has a pressurised bottle (1) containing the solution and a completely innocuous propellant gas. The bottle is capped by a plug (2) with means for forming a miniature fog and diffusing it into a tip (3) fitting against the eyeball periphery. Baffles are included to ensure that the fog reaches the cornea indirectly. The tip can be in the form of a cup, fitting equally against the right or the left eye, while the fog arrives in the cup near the edge, towards which it is deflected by a central rounded baffle (6).
