Abstract

The corner-jig with clamps sets two panels at right angles to one another and may be used in the assembly of cup-boards. The jig comprises two vertical plates (1, 2) with coplanar horizontal base plates (3). The vertical plates form an 'L' in plan and the base plates extend outwards. A movable vertical plate (9, 23) is slidable on spring-pistons (12, 20) and is set on each base plate (3) and parallel to the corresponding primary plates (1, 2). The movable plates are moved by lever-operated cams (18, 28) and are sprung (20) away from the primary plates (1, 2).
