Abstract
An area is heated using a heat pump with a water evaporator which is complemented by an air evaporator. The latter may be used to supply heat to an accumulator, the flow through the fluid circuit being controlled by three-way valves. The water in the accumulator flows through an evaporator, the heat being transferred to a further accumulator via a condenser in a refrigerant circulating circuit. Hot water for domestic use is pref. prepared in the heat exchanger installed in the gas flow path from the compressor exhaust.
