Abstract

L'invention concerne des composés nouveaux qui sont des 2,4-dichlorophényl-imidazolyl-éthanones ou des 2,4-dichlorophényl-imidazolyl-éthanols et leurs sels acceptables du point de vue physiologique. On obtient ces composés par un procédé qui consiste à faire réagir des 1-bromo-2-(2,4-dichlorophényl)-1-phénoxyéthane-2-ones avec l'imidazole en présence d'un diluant et d'un accepteur d'acide puis à réduire éventuellement les imidazolyl-éthanones ainsi formées, avec des borohydrures complexes, le cas échéant en présence d'un diluant. Les composés de l'invention sont doués d'activité antimycosique ; leur activité est supérieure à celle des dérivés de phénoxy-imidazolyle connus qui sont les composés les plus proches du point de vue chimique et du point de vue de l'activité. Les composés de l'invention représentent donc un progrès du domaine pharmaceutique.The invention relates to novel compounds which are 2,4-dichlorophenyl-imidazolyl-ethanones or 2,4-dichlorophenyl-imidazolyl-ethanols and their physiologically acceptable salts. These compounds are obtained by a process which consists of reacting 1-bromo-2- (2,4-dichlorophenyl) -1-phenoxyethane-2-ones with imidazole in the presence of a diluent and a d-acceptor. 'acid then optionally reducing the imidazolyl-ethanones thus formed, with complex borohydrides, where appropriate in the presence of a diluent. The compounds of the invention are endowed with antimycotic activity; their activity is greater than that of the known phenoxyimidazolyl derivatives which are the closest compounds chemically and from the point of view of activity. The compounds of the invention therefore represent progress in the pharmaceutical field.
