Abstract

Tractor is placed upon a trailer or other machine, the drive wheels of the tractor being brought into contact with the wheels of the trailer to move the machine. A tilting wheel pair is controlled by a hydraulic cylinder from the tractor. One of the wheels may then be interposed between one tractor drive wheel and the trailer wheel. An inclined conical drive wheel is driven by a pinion engaging an internal crown gear at its upper side which is driven through level gearing. The conical drive wheel stabilises the machine horizontally and moves it slowly.
