Abstract

The reflector is positionally adjustable by connection in a slide mounted on baffles and is controlled by a screw (26, 27) approx. parallel to the light beam. The screw is axially constrained and drives the lugs (20) on a rider which is connected to the reflector and so effects the adjustment. The rider has shoulders (22) which slide on surfaces (30) mounted on baffles (28 and 29) which are integral with the main moulding (11). Some retaining spring action comes from the reflector. The lug (20) is slotted (21) and the section made open by flanges (18, 19). To obtain clamping action in the slides (23, 30). The rider (15) has an arm (17) to carry connector (16) and may be made from a thermoplastic material.
