Abstract

a. Dispositif d'alimentation de métal fondu suivant la technique ESR (refusion sous électroscorie) au cours de la solidification des lingots pour compenser les phénomènes de retrait et de ségrégation. b. comprend essentiellement un assemblage d'électrodes constitué par au moins une électrode principale et par une électrode secondaire tubulaire allongée et creuse, disposée coaxialement autour de l'électrode principale en maintenant entre elles un espace adéquat, le circuit électrique d'alimentation de courant etant ferme entre lesdites électrodes. c. Le dispositif convient notamment pour le traitement de l'acier en vue d'abaisser la teneur en carbone et en soufre.
