Abstract

The roller channel guide is for a tracked vehicle (1). The drive employs a single or double pinion (4). The units forming the track segments are connected by a flexible traction belt (12) to which they are fixed. The belts are clamped between each element and a keeper plate (13) by counter-sunk head screws (14, 15) which extend from the segment through the bolt and keeper plate. The rolling path is formed by one or more continuous surfaces of one or more belts. The traction belt is placed between two guide ridges (10) which guide the pinions. The roller (8) is between them, mounted on a jockey arm (9). The sectors are suited to use on snow.
