Abstract

The sprinkler which consists of two sections, may be inserted into a pipe, has an outlet aperture near the surface of the pipe, and an inlet aperture within the pipe. The sprinkler has a rigid shank (3), its head serving as outlet. The shank fits into the pipe wall with a seat (12), so that the head is aligned with it. An elastic cylindrical seal surrounds the shank, to form a wall section of the fluid holding pipe section. The in- and outlet are at opposite ends of the sleeve. The shank partly forms the fluid path, which is also bordered by the sleeve. The sleeve alters the flow cross section of the path, due to hydraulic pressure.
