Abstract

L'accumulateur comprend au moins un paquet 12 de plaques d'accumulateur formées, positives et négatives, avec des séparateurs isolants intercalés entre les plaques adjacentes, une partie de l'acide sulfurique utilisé pour former les plaques étant retenue par l'accumulateur et ayant une densité comprise entre 1,25 et 1,35, la quantité d'acide retenue étant insuffisante pour relier électriquement les plaques pendant l'emmagasinage, et des moyens étant prévus pour fermer l'accumulateur de façon étanche contre la pénétration de l'air mais de façon à laisser s'échapper les gaz engendrés dans l'accumulateur.
