Abstract

The sealing ring (1) for cables rods etc. has a central housing (7) which grips the cable (2). This has a part serrated flange (10) combined with a mounting flange (8) for a captive location of the unit within the matched orifice (3). The inner flanges clasp the inner part of the central casing. A lip element (4) has a central opening (18) in use, when the cover (4) is put into place on the receiving unit (7) there is a positive location of the fastening units on the receptor and on the other part a progressive locking of the bolting flanges on the cable.
