Abstract

Two plastic sealing strips (1, 2, 3), fastened on the upper side of the ridge board (11), are used to cover over the gaps present on both sides of the ridge board (11), between the covering caps (19) and roofing slabs (14). Each of the sealing strips (1, 2, 3) has, on its edge intended for fastening on the ridge board (11), an angled-off portion (2), the width of which is not more than half the width of the ridge board (11). This angled-off portion (2) permits, in a simple manner, the sealing strips (1, 2, 3) to be nailed on the upper side of the ridge board (11), because the fold (4), resulting from the angling-off of the edge portion (2), provides a satisfactory stop on the edge of the ridge board (11), and it is ensured that no troublesome overlaps with the portion of the sealing strips fitted on the other side of the ridge board (11) occur.
