Abstract

The bag filling machine (2) has a belt conveyor (1a) which delivers the bags to a belt elevator (3). After filling, the bags are first tipped over by passing under a bridge (4) and are then flattened by passing under the roller (5). The bag then moves to the first printing position (6) with a frame (11) which supports the printing plate (13). The bag is stopped at the position by means of a hydraulically operated stop plate (32) which presses the end of the bag. A second label may be printed in a similar second printing position (7).
