Abstract

Procédé et installation de stérilisation d'une bande en matière thermoplastique. On applique le côté de la bande thermoplastique 5, côté destiné à former ultérieurement l'intérieur des emballages 10 contre une bande métallique mince, formant support mobile de stérilisation 1, qui est chauffée à la température de stérilisation et qui accompagne et soutient la bande thermoplastique 5 sur une partie de son trajet vers le poste de formage 9 disposé dans une enceinte stérile. On maintient les bandes en contact jusqu'à l'entrée dans l'enceinte stérile, avant de transporter la bande thermoplastique vers des postes de remplissage 80 et de scellement 71 des emballages, postes disposés le cas échéant au moins partiellement dans l'enceinte stérile. Ce procédé est plus particulièrement applicable dans le cadre d'installations de conditionnement en milieu stérile.
