Abstract
L'invention concerne un dispositif de direction assistée. Ce dispositif comrend une pompe assurant une circulation d'huile dans un boîtier de commande hydrostatique. Un vérin hydraulique à double effet communique avec le boîtier. Il renferme un piston, dont la tige en saillie à l'une des extrémités du vérin, peut être reliée au tringlage de direction. Un distributeur ramene l'huile chassée du côte tige de piston vers l'autre côté du vérin, lorsque de l'huile sous pression est admise par cet autre côté, et renvoie au boîtier l'huile chassée de l'extrémité opposée à la tige de piston lorsque de l'huile est admise dans l'extrémité tige de piston. Ceci permet de braquer les roues directrices du véhicule d'un angle égal dans les deux sens en réponse à des déplacements angulaires égaux du volant dans le sens correspondant. Application notamment aux tracteurs agricoles et autres véhicules opposant une grande résistance au braquage.
