Abstract

The waterproof headlamp for a vehicle has a one piece moulded housing (1) by which it is fitted. Inside, there is an optical assembly (2) with a glass (3) in front of it and a rear visor. The optical block and glass are mounted in an annular one piece seal (5). The seal is maintained locked in the housing by the visor (4) and the unit is held by a screw (6). This screw has a rod (6a) engaged in a radial recess (7) in the horizontal part (8) of the housing. The assembly is fixed in position by a nut (9) below the horizontal part of the housing.
