Abstract
L'invention a pour objet un moteur. Le moteur comporte un carter quasi-cylindrique 11, un rotor 43 monté dans le carter et tournant autour d'un axe 45 parallèle à celui du carter, un ensemble d'éléments tubulaires mobiles 15 qui coopèrent avec des organes fixes 13 s'étendant radialement vers l'intérieur du carter et jouant le rôle de pistons, les éléments tubulaires étant fermés à l'une de leurs extrémités 13b et liés 22, aux mêmes extrémités, au rotor de façon que chaque élément tubulaire puisse coulisser relativement à un organe fixe de sorte que le volume B délimité par l'intérieur d'un élément tubulaire et par l'organe fixe correspondant varie avec la rotation du rotor, les organes fixes presentant chacun une rainure annulaire borgne dans laquelle coulisse l'extrémité ouverte 21 de l'élément tubulaire 15 correspondant en formant deux autres volumes variables A, C dont un de pompage, des passages 35, 37, 51 et des canalisations 29, 31, 53 d'admission et d'échappement appropriés étant ailleurs prévus dans le carter, les éléments tubulaires et les organes fixes. L'invention trouve son application dans le domaine des moteurs à combustion interne.
