Abstract

L'invention concerne le traitement de la surface d'oxydes minéraux particulaires par de l'organo-silicium. La composition de l'invention comprend des particules d'un oxyde minéral dont la surface contient un silane (possédant au moins 2 à 3 groupes hydrolysables fixés sur Si et un groupe organique contenant un groupe poly (oxyde d'alkylène), ses hydrolysais ou produits de condensation. The composition of the invention comprises particles of an inorganic oxide whose surface contains a silane (having at least 2 to 3 hydrolyzable groups attached to Si and an organic group containing a poly (alkylene oxide) group, its hydrolyses or condensation products. The treatment serves to improve the dispersibility of filler (pigmentation or reinforcement) for paints and plastics, and to improve the physical characteristics of the molded composites obtained. Particles of TiO2 or Al (OH) can in particular be treated 3.
