Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de mise en contact de phases dans lequel une ou plusieurs phases constituées chacune par un produit solidaire à l'état divisé sont mises en suspension et en circulation naturelle dans une phase constituée par un fluide. Le procédé consiste à utiliser une enceinte pourvue à sa base d'un distributeur 7 et contenant des cellules de circulation 5a, 5b, 5c formées chacune par un conduit de section S qui possède à sa base une chicane définissant une section libre s telle que 0,12 <= s/S <= O,60, à alimenter chaque cellule en produit divisé et à alimenter chaque cellule en fluide par sa section libre s, de sorte que la vitesse V de celui-ci au niveau de la section S soit supérieure à la vitesse minimale de fluidisation du produit divisé. Le procédé s'applique à un ou des produits divisés se présentant sous forme de grosses particules et permet de les mettre en circulation tourbillonnaire dans les cellules pour assurer des transferts de matière, de chaleur ou de quantité de mouvement.
