Abstract

The measuring vessel for the measuring appliance consists of a cylindrical body (1), in which two vertical cavities (2, 3) are arranged close together which extend over almost the entire height of the body (1). At their lower open ends, which are designed as constricted passages (4, 5), the vertical cavities (2, 3) are interconnected by a horizontal measuring duct (6) whose ends are covered by cover plates (9, 10). Reliable, reproducible mixing, temperature regulation and measurement of the reaction mixture is ensured, requiring little time and employing a simple, compact design. The measuring appliance can without much trouble be adapted to the particular analysis method required, the efficiency of the measuring device being substantially increased at the same time.
