Abstract

L'invention a pour objet des perfectionnements au procédé de fabrication de papier couché mettant en oeuvre un pigment et un amidon dépolymérisé. Dans le composé d'amidon dépolymérisé porteur de groupes phosphate, présent en une concentration comprise entre 1 et 30 %, et a ditionné éventuellement d'un agent de dispersion, on incorpore un pigment très fin, de granulométrie inférieure à 20 microns, constitué essentiellement par du sulfate de calcium dihydraté de formule CaSO4 .2H2 O, ledit procédé comprenant l'application sur l'une au moins des faces du papier et le séchage ultérieur de celui-ci, ce qui aboutit à un fini brillant pour la face citée et une bonne resistance à l'arrachement sous humidité, sans obligation d'utiliser des liants synthétiques.
