Abstract

A loading ramp has two spaced concrete beams (4) supported on wooden blocks (22). The upper surfaces of the beams are horizontal. A metal platform is arranged between the beams and pivoted to them (7). The inclination of the platform is varied by one or more jacks (8). Concrete sections (3, 2) with inclined upper surfaces provide a continuous track from the ground to the beams. Operation of the jack inclines the platform to raise the body of the vehicle and align it with the loading area.
