Abstract

L'invention concerne de nouveaux dérivés d'acides 1-acyloxy-méthyl-4,5-dichlorimidazole-2-carboxyliques. On obtient ces composés par un procédé qui consiste à faire réagir des dérivés d'acides 4,5-dichlorimidazole-2-carboxyliques avec le formaldéhyde ou une substance libérant du formaldéhyde et avec des anhydrides d'acides carboxyliques, le cas échéant en présence d'un diluant, de même qu'en la présence éventuelle d'un catalyseur. Les composés de l'invention sont doués d'activité herbicide et conviennent également comme substances de croissance des plantes de même que pour la lutte contre des insectes et des acariens.
