Abstract

A support for a radio set (10) in a car, comprises an adjustable transverse element (7). It is fixed below the roof (1) of the passenger compartment of the car by the fixing bolts (6) which secure the rotary mountings (5) of the sun visors (4) to the car. The support element (7) includes a central section (8) off-set downwards to define with the roof (1) a space (9) for accommodating the radio set (10). The support element (7) also comprises recesses (11) for receiving the sun visors (4) when not in use. Connection to a roof aerialis facilitated, and the radio set is less visible from the outside and hence less vulnerable to theft.
