Abstract
Appareil de mesure de vitesse de gaz. Le long de deux plans qui sont traversés successivement par les particules élémentaires de gaz 13 s'étendent respectivement deux faisceau lumineux 11, 12 en forme de bande aplatie, de faible épaisseur dans le sens du courant de gaz, qui sont renvoyés chacun sur un récepteur photoélectrique 14, 15; les signaux de sortie de ces deux récepteurs photoélectriques sont transmis à un corrélateur 16 qui détermine la différence entre les durées de parcours des deux signaux de sortie. Dispositif utilisé notamment pour mesurer en continu la vitesse des gaz de fumée dans une cheminée, sur la totalité de la section transversale de cette cheminée.
