Tête de cylindre de moteur à combustion interne avec, pour les soupapes d'admission et d'échappement, des logements de soupapes pouvant être bridés en direction axiale par des moyens de fixation. b. Tête de cylindre caractérisée en ce que la résultante de tous les efforts de bridage des moyens de fixation des logements de soupapes est coaxiale à la ligne - passant par les centres de gravité des surfaces présentées par ces logements de soupapes et dont la section transversale est minimale et non-symétrique par rapport à leur axe médian - qui représente la ligne des contraintes de pression maximales susceptibles d'être supportées. c. L'invention trouve son application principale dans les agencements de têtes de cylindres de moteurs à combustion interne et à pistons alternatifs.
