Abstract

The hair comb is made of rigid material such as metal in the form of a plate (1) with at least one row of triangular teeth (2a, 2b). In the case of two rows of teeth, one row (2a) has larger teeth than the other (2b). The base (3) of the teeth is wide compared with the thickness of the plate. The edges of two consecutive teeth of the same row form a rounded angle together. At the junction of two adjacent edges is a circular notch (4). The tips (5) of the teeth are rounded. The plate (1) forming the comb is curved into a S-section so that the two rows of teeth are parallel but offset w.r.t. each other.
