Abstract

Dans le cas de procédés connus, la décorrélation prédictive ne tient chaque fois compte que d'un ou plusieurs points précédemment analysés de la même ligne d'image. Une protection contre les perturbations au moyen des signes de contrôle pour chaque point soumis à décorrélation pourrait augmenter la redondance. Selon l'invention, l'image à analyser est subdivisée en images partielles et, dans chaque image partielle, quelques points régulièrement répartis sur la superficie de chaque image partielle sont soumis à décorrélation de manière à constituer les emplacements de soutien. Dans un dispositif de décorrélation, on met momentanément en mémoire un nombre de lignes d'image égal au nombre de lignes d'une image partielle, deux circuits de traitement étant reliés chaque fois aux derniers étages des registres à décalage, un de ces circuits de traitement servant à la décorrélation des emplacements de soutien et l'autre à la décorrélation des points intermédiaires. Application à la décorrélation prédictive pour la reproduction d'images.
