Abstract

A fire engine for technical work has a wagon type body to house tools and equipment. The superstructure (2) has in its longitudinal direction a cavity (3) which is open at the top. A lifting device (5) move containers (4) holding special apparatus into and out of the cavity. There are fixings for the containers on the superstructure roof. The containers have feet with inclined side faces at their outside. In the feet are holes and straps to receive fixing pins. The containers hold special fire extinguishing material. The vehicle is intended as a back up to normal fire engines which cannot carry much in the way of special tools and equipment.
