Abstract

The spectacle lense mounting measuring and verification system uses a slidably mounted diagrams. On this diagram is a partial outline of a lense and a graduation reference (35G) which is parallel to a horizontal indexed reference line (H). The diagram (14) is carried on a mirror. This mirror is a designed to be fitted onto a transparent plate (10). The mirror can be displaced under the plaque parallel and perpendicular to the reference line (V). The plate (10) has a reference graduation (16D, 16G) on it which are fixed with respect to a vertical reference line (V). The plate (10) has a centring block (18) to maintain it central with respect to the vertical reference line (V) for all types of spectacle frames.
