Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour la préparation de mélanges de dinitroanthraquinones par nitration par l'acide nitrique en présence d'acide sulfurique à chaud. Selon l'invention, on traite l'anthraquinone et/ou la l-nitroanthraquinone éventuellement contaminée avec 1,5 à 2,5 fois son poids d'acide nitrique, par rapport au produit introduit, en présence d'acide sulfurique à raison de 0,75 à 2 fois le poids de l'acide nitrique, on maintient la température dans l'intervalle de la température ambiante à 50 degrés C jsuqu'à la dinitration d'au moins 50 % de l'anthraquinone et/ou de la l-nitroanthraquinone éventuellement contaminée et ensuite on ajuste la température à environ 50-70 degrés C.
