Abstract

Procédé de fabrication de matériaux de protection contre le feu, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comporte les stades opératoires suivants : a. Un mélange liquide de silicate alcalin et d'eau, d'une teneur en eau compnse entre 45 et 95 % en poids, est séché jusqu'à une teneur en eau comprise entre 6 et 40 % en poids; b. La masse ainsi obtenue est, le cas échéant, mélangée avec des matériaux de renforcement et d'autres produits d'addition et est amenée à l'état plastique par chauffage à des températures comprises entre 40 et 110 degrés C; c. La masse plastique est remise en forme par pressage, soit au cours du stade opératoire B, soit ultérieurement; d.
