Abstract

The feed mechanism distributes liq. in finely separated form and/or as vapour to an i.c. engine. The liq. is contained in a closed vessel having a distributor in the lower section. The distributor communicates with the external air and has apertures so that this air can reach the liq. in the container. A lead has one end connected to the upper side of the container and its other end connected to the suction pipe of the engine to supply the cylinders with fuel. A guide wall in the container is positioned between the distributor and the lead end. This guides wall has narrow openings to distribute the air and lengthen its flow path. This ensures an effective dampening of the air with the liq.
