Abstract

The composite insulated and asymmetric prefabricated wall panel has a synthetic core (11) sandwiched between resp. rigid and flexible (13) layers. The core is pref. of a rigid foam e.g. expanded polystyrene, the rigid skin (32) of relatively thick plaster-board, and the flexible skin (13) comprises a ductile metal sheet. Panel warping is inherent in this type of assymetric fabrication, and this panel is designed to permit panel straightening operations. The metal sheet (13) may be made of A1 and is crimped (13a) to reduce its resistance to straightening forces. It has an external glazed sheet (14) which provides for fixing to an external support.
