Abstract

The surface protector for drawing and writing paper enables work to be carried out on an already worked surface without smudging. It comprises a flat base (1) of plastic or other material, either kidney or kite shaped. Below this base, distributed over the lower surface, are several rounded projections (17) which raise the base from the surface of the paper. The upper surface of the base has a loop (13) towards one end. This is in the form of an inverted U shaped clip fastened onto the surface. The little finger of the user's hand passes through the loop holding it in position.
