Abstract

The small junction box, for connecting two wires quickly, consists of two identical hollow halves each with a hole at each end for the wires. Each half has two parallel partitions (6, 7) at one end and one partition (10) at the other. All these partitions have slots into which the bared ends of the two wires fit. When the halves are brought together, aligned by keying pegs the one partition of one half fits between the two partitions of the other half deforming and clamping the bared wire at that end of the box.
