Abstract

Wall covering materials is produced by (a) covering each face of a grill made of threads with sheets of cellulose wadding, (b) glueing the resulting composite sheet to a paper support, (c) printing the composite sheet with colours extending through the thickness of the sheet, and (d) bonding together the two sheets of cellulose wadding over all their surfaces through the grill by means of adhesive. Material combines high strength with an attractive, decorative appearance and good flexibility. Good resistance to water. It can be cleaned by washing.
