Abstract

The vibratory sifting machine comprises a number of rotary drives with eccentric weights and gears meshing together. One of the gears is connected to a drive by a detachable coupling, allowing adjustment of the cut-of-phase of the weights. The one gear can be a toothed ring, inside which a hub of the drive engages. The hub can assume various positions in relation to the ring, being locked by a key in each of them, the key forming part of the coupling. The drive can have a self-aligning bearing mounted on a fixed spindle passing through the shaft to which the hub is fixed, the hub rotating on the spindle.
