Abstract

The modular door unit consists of a frame (2) comprising two side uprights and a top (5) and bottom (6) rail. The frame acts as a reinforcement for a hollow partition section and fits into a hole which can be closed by means of a sliding door (9). The sliding door slides along the top and bottom rails and fits inside the hollow partition. The door (9) has at least two runners at the top, with vertical axles, which jut out on each side of the door. The top rail of the frame has a U-shaped section with sides on which the runners run. The bottom of the door has at least two runners with horizontal axles running in a U-shaped rail in the bottom rail of the frame.
