Abstract

The mounting is intended to make the fitting of sanitary appliances in buildings easier and consists of a prefabricated open framework mounted on footings fixed to the foundations of the building. The framework is positioned before or after erection of the interior walls (4) of the building but before any second stage work is commenced. It consists of a footing comprised of two tubular sections, mounted on shoes (23) and connected by two angle beams (24, 25), tapped by channel section (6) and supporting another channel section (7) held on uprights. The pipework for the fitting is placed inside the framework and the fitting itself is premounted on a wall panel (B) which fits into the framework after the plumbing has been connected up.
